Increase in Effectiveness of Inspection Carried Out by Inspection Body Expected
1 / 5

The legislative amendment proposes to eliminate the requirement to inform the economic entity at least three working days before the start of the inspection when carrying out an inspection in the field of health and labour law.

As a result of the adoption of the draft, it is expected to increase the efficiency of control over detection and prevention of hidden work.

The draft law on Amending the Law on Organization and Conduct of Inspections in the Republic of Armenia authored by the deputies Heriknaz Tigranyan and Narek Zeynalyan was debated in the first reading at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on September 7.

Artur Asoyan, Head of the Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau of the Office of the RA Prime Minister, presented the editorial amendments proposed by the Government, which were accepted by the authors.

The Committee endorsed the draft.

At the suggestion of the author, the Government, the debate of the draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the Law on Energy was postponed for up to two months.
