At September 15 sitting of parliament, the Chairman of the NA Accounting Committee Narek Babayan presented the results of the election of a judge of the Constitutional Court (CC). The Government nominated Seda Safaryan for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court, and the President of the Republic – Hovakim Hovakimyan as a CC judge.
65 deputies out of 107 took part in the election. The two candidates were elected receiving 65 in favour.
