With the adoption of the drafts, the legal relations arising in the field of alienation of the developed plots of land owned by the state will be regulated, it will give an opportunity to provide additional cash receipts to the RA state budget.
The RA Chairman of the State Property Management Committee Arnak Avetisyan presented the package of draft laws on Making Amendments and Addendum to the RA Land Code at the sitting of the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection on October 19.
According to the key rapporteur, it is proposed to allow the Government, represented by the State Property Management Committee, not only to manage state-owned property, but also to manage and alienate undeveloped plots of land owned by the Republic of Armenia. Arnak Avetisyan noted that according to the existing regulations, the alienation of lands, including state-owned lands, is assigned to the communities, which is carried out by the decision of the Council of Elders of the communities, through an auction and in other ways defined by law, as a result of which many obstacles appear in the processes of land alienation, implementation of investment programs and replenishment of the state budget.
The draft law was endorsed.
