The NA deputies Armen Khachatryan, Hovik Aghazaryan and Mikayel Tumasyan took part in the Conference coordinating the Chairs of the Committees on Defense and Security Committees of the Parliaments of Member States adjunct to the CSTO PA Council. It took place in Saint Petersburg on October 20.

Armen Khachatryan, among other directions, conveyed data to the attendees on the Azerbaijani aggressive actions launched against the sovereign territories of Armenia from September 13 and documented that the military-political situation in the South Caucasus is characterized by the high risk of conflicts and demonstrative activeness of Azerbaijan, which is carried out with absolute support of Turkey.

During the meeting the security issues of the Member States were discussed, and the possible means jointly counteracting the security problems were observed.
