European Parliament\'s Standing Rapporteur on Armenia: Azerbaijan Should Stop Its Hostile Rhetoric

Azerbaijan should stop its hostile rhetoric: the European Parliament's Standing Rapporteur on Armenia Andrey Kovatchev being in Armenia on a two-day visit said during the meeting with the members of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations on October 21.

The aim of Andrey Kovatchev’s visit is to present exact information on Armenia in the preparing report, which will be introduced and debated in the European Parliament. It is designed that the structure will adopt it until the end of the year.

At the meeting the Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Eduard Aghajanyan and the Committee members gave details on the Azerbaijani large-scale aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. The problems of the protection of rights and security of the Armenians living in Artsakh, underlining that today the latter stand before the danger of the ethnic cleansing. The legislators noted that they expect the targeted statements condemning the actions of Azerbaijan.
