Tigran Abrahamyan: Azerbaijan has no intention of delimitation and demarcation
1 / 3

“Azerbaijan is trying to solve a much bigger problem than one can imagine. The main goal is not just settlements, the goal of Azerbaijan is to take such control of the important facilities and communications of Armenia, which will simply deprive Armenia of its viability, that is, from its ability to fight and develop normally,” the deputy of the With Honor Faction Tigran Abrahamyan noted during the parliamentary briefings, regarding the actions of Azerbaijan after the latest aggression in September.

Referring to the discussions on the peace treaty, the deputy expressed the opinion that Azerbaijan has already completed the process of delimitation and demarcation for itself, and it has no intention of delimitation and demarcation. According to Tigran Abrahamyan, Azerbaijan occupied and settled in such parts and positions of Armenia, under which it solved its main problem for several decades.

The journalist was interested in the situation on the border after the Azerbaijani aggression on September 13, and also asked whether there is a threat of resuming large-scale military actions, taking into account that observers are deployed there. Tigran Abrahamyan noted that he is not optimistic about the prevention of escalation on the border at the moment, the presence of observers does not inspire optimism as well, taking into account a number of circumstances. in response to another question, the deputy said: “The processes in the political sphere and the diplomatic front are proceeding in such a fragile way that it is simply not possible to rule out large-scale military actions under any circumstances, even in the short term.”
