On November 16, the National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings the bills debated on the previous day passing them by voting.

The Secretary of the RA NA Armenia Faction Artsvik Minasyan thanked the Senate of the Republic of France for adopting a resolution yesterday, on November 15, by which the French colleagues support Armenia and propose to impose sanctions on Azerbaijan.

“Taking into consideration the decision made by the Senate of France, we welcome the assessments given by the Senate and we thank our French colleagues for condemning the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan and especially calling on Baku to urgently withdraw the Azerbaijani occupation armed forces from the Artsakh Republic and the Republic of Armenia,” he said

The NA President Alen Simonyan joined Artsvik Minasyan’s words and also thanked the French MPs.

The Resolution was adopted by voting 295 to 1. The senators Bruno Retailleau, Christian Cambon, Éliane Assassi, Patrick Kanner, Hervé Marseille and Gilbert-Luc Devinaz presented it.
