Drafts Debated in Second Reading in Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Are Endorsed
1 / 13

The members of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly introduced an endorsement on two issues in the second reading at the January 11 sitting.

The executive body proposes amendments and addenda to the laws on State Registration of Legal Persons, Separate Subdivisions of Legal Persons, State Accounting of Institutions and Individual Entrepreneurs and on Limited Liability Companies(LLC).

The aim of the adoption of the initiative is to reduce the scope of documents to be submitted for state registration of a legal person’s liquidation: the requirement to submit a number of references will eliminate. It is proposed to eliminate the requirement to make amendments in the Charter again with the new regulation in the Law on Limited Liability Companies, in case of changing passport information. No amendments were made from the first to the second reading. The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan stated about this.

The MP Alkhas Ghazaryan positively assessed the proposed regulation.

The MP Gevorg Papoyan proposes to reserve the right to work without a permit not only to the organization's representative office in the RA, but also to the foreign employees of the branch. Under the current legislation, the employee of the foreign organization’s representative office is exempt from the work permit requirement, while a branch office is not.

Gevorg Papoyan's draft proposing addendum to the law on Foreigners was debated at the Committee in the second reading. No proposals were introduced from the first to the second reading, the draft was not revised.

The MP Lilit Minasyan suggested voting for it in the related report.
