On January 13, the Council of the National Assembly presided over by the NA President Alen Simonyan convened a sitting.

The draft agendas of the fifth session of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly, as well as the regular sittings to be convened on January 16 were debated and approved.

The sequence for the debate of the agenda items of the regular sittings was also set.

25 items were included in the draft agenda of the NA regular sittings.

The debate of the draft decision of the NA Council on Applying to the Constitutional Court on terminating the powers of the National Assembly deputies was postponed for one week pursuant to Article 156.5 of the constitutional law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.
