On January 17, the RA NA Council presided over by Alen Simonyan convened an extraordinary sitting.

Amendments were made in the decision of the Council on Approving the Friendship Groups of the Eighth Convocation of the National Assembly by the decision of the NA Council, and it says that Babken Tunyan will replace the deputy who terminated her powers in the position of the Head of Armenia-Bulgaria Friendship Group Anush Begloian. In the Armenia-Indonesia Friendship Group Mariam Poghosyan will replace Vahagn Hovakimyan.

By another decision in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Hripsime Grigoryan will replace the substitute member Eduard Aghajanyan in the delegation of the NA eighth convocation again in the status of again a substitute member.

According to the amendments made by the decision of the NA Council Sargis Khandanyan will head the delegation of the NA eighth convocation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA), replacing Eduard Aghajanyan. Artur Hovhannisyan will replace the substitute member of the delegation Sargis Khandanyan, and Lilit Minasyan will replace Hripsime Grigoryan again in the status of a substitute member.
