On May 2 RA NA President received the delegation headed by Thomas Melia, Deputy Executive Director of Freedom House, Kristie Evenson, Director of European Office and Anna Walker, Editor, analyst of Economist Intelligence Unit.

Mr. Melia submitted to NA President the 2006 annual report of Freedom House NGO, noting that the methodologies and criteria of estimation. Both sides touched upon the process of Armenian reforms, and for their success highlighting the deepening of democracy, the economic developments and free elections, the freedom of speech in the countries in transition. The sides also highlighted the reliability of information.

During the meeting other issues of mutual importance were also discussed.
