During the Parliament-Government Q&A session the NA deputy Heriknaz Tigranyan inquired about the details of introducing Comprehensive Health Insurance Concept, concretely during upcoming four years with what principle and schedule will work the system.

The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan documented that during the upcoming four years the system will be gradually introduced: it is one of the most important and cornerstone reforms. “This reform will have an influence not only on the accessibility of the services, but also on the change of their qualitative component,” she noted.

The Minister gave details also on the reforms being designed by the five-year strategy of the health sphere. It is envisaged that from 2025 the pensioners’ insurance will be carried out at the expense of the state.
