During February 9 RA NA next sitting, a number of legislative initiatives were debated.

The RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan presented for debate the draft law on Making Addendum to the law on Holding the Arrestees and the Detainees. The initiative is aimed at standardization of the building conditions of holding places for the arrestees. The features of the building and refurbishment of these places should be set by the decision of the Government. It was noted that during the period from the first to the second reading one proposal of technical character was presented.

The RA Deputy Minister of Health Armen Nazaryan presented for debate the draft law on Amending the State Property Privatization Programme for 2017-2020. The adoption of the draft law is conditioned by the necessity of removing the CJSC Production Centre of Radioisotopes from the State Property Privatization Programme for 2017-2020.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, Sport Karen Giloyan presented the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendment to the law on Physical Culture and Sport. In case of adoption of the draft, stemming from the factual results shown by the RA servicemen athletes during the previous ten years in the championships of the Military Sport International Council, as one-time premium by the end of the year will be set for the servicemen athletes and chief coaches of the national teams who won golden, silver and bronze medals.

The Acting Head of the Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau of the RA Prime Minister’s Staff Armen Danielyan presented for debate of parliament the draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences. The legal bases related to the regular activity procedure of the of Health and labor, as well as the Market Control Inspection Bodies will be ensured by the adoption of the draft.

The process of disclosing the violations in the sphere of realization of the drugs is expected to specify by the adoption of the draft law on Making Addenda to the law on Drugs and the package of the enclosed presented draft laws authored by the deputies Narek Zeynalyan and Lusine Badalyan.
