On March 2, the members of the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs met with the Head of Decent Work Now Project of the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center (TIAC) Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Christina Margaryan and the Project Expert Armen Khudaverdyan.

Within the framework of the Project, TIAC implemented monitoring of the legislation enforcement of the RA Health and Labor Inspection Body in the sphere of labor law, including the state control powers established by law in the field of health care and safety of employees, presenting relevant proposals.

During the meeting, the monitoring report and the proposals included in it, the possibilities of their realization were debated.

The Committee Chair Heriknaz Tigranyan expressed willingness on behalf of the Committee to organize a working debate with the involvement of the concerned structures to formulate concrete proposals or develop drafts based on the results of the report.
