“You are our power for tomorrow, you will rule our country. Meetings with you are very productive for us. As a result of them, the ways to solve the issues to be discussed become more obvious,” the deputy of the NA Civil Contract Faction Rustam Bakoyan said at the meeting with the 4th year students of Yerevan State University (YSU) Faculty of International Relations who are passing a probation period in parliament.
The MP emphasized the involvement of young people in the political life and current issues of Armenia. Rustam Bakoyan noted that he and his colleagues are doing their best to reduce systemic problems and strengthen security.
The deputy also touched upon the state administration system of Armenia, talked about the controlling function of parliament and the activity of the Civil Contract Faction.
The students inquired about the fate of the persons who committed treason against the motherland during the 44-day war, the motives of their actions and, accordingly, the types of punishments to be applied.
There was a reference to the foreign and internal policy of Armenia, as well as the peculiarities of the policy of the regional states.
The students considered it important that such meetings should be continuous. They mentioned that meetings with the deputies are very efficient.
