On April 3, the Vice President of the RA National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan received the delegation led by the Head of Croatia-Armenia Friendship Group of the Croatian Parliament Davor Ivo Stier.
Welcoming the guests, Ruben Rubinyan underlined that Armenia and Croatia have historical and cultural commonalities. In the development of the Armenian-Croatian inter-parliamentary relations, the NA Vice-President highlighted the mutual visits of friendly groups and effective cooperation.
The interlocutors valued active cooperation on the international platforms.
At the Croatian parliamentarians’ request, Ruben Rubinyan presented the current state of the normalisation process of the Armenia-Turkey relations, as well as the situation in the region.
Speaking about the Armenia-EU cooperation, the NA Vice President appreciated the role of the European Union Civilian Observation Mission in Armenia.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, the members of the Croatia-Armenia Friendship Group underscored the necessity of revitalizing bilateral relations and attached importance the establishment of peace in the region.
