The draft law designing addenda to the RA Labor Code was debated and endorsed at the extraordinary sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs in the second reading on April 13.

The RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan informed that there were no written proposals from the first to the second reading. Clarifying proposals were addressed.

The Committee Chair Heriknaz Tigranyan noted that training gatherings have been announced since February and the first group was involved in those gatherings in March. In order to exclude problems regarding the salary payment, it was proposed to apply the law to the persons currently taking part the training gatherings, fixing that the law applies to relationships that arose after 1 January 2023 .
