In 2007, we adopted a law recognizing the Armenian Genocide, which prescribes an action, respect and protection of human rights. In the Republic of Argentina, we have a big Armenian community, which is integrated in our society. We, as representatives of the legislative body, should make efforts in order to be able to support your country to get out of this difficult situation. We want to develop the diplomatic, economic ties: the Senator of the Republic of Argentina, the Chairman of the Friendship Group Argentina-Armenia of the Senate Guillermo Andrada said.

On May 30, the delegation led by him visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

The Head of the NA Friendship Group Armenia-Argentina Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the members of the Group Elinar Vardanyan, Hasmik Hakobyan, Arman Ghazaryan and Sergey Bagratyan accompanied the guests.

The parliamentarians laid flowers at the Eternal Fire perpetuating the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, and honoured in silence the memory of the Holy Martyrs.

The members of the Friendship Group also were in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the documents certifying the massacre and observed the exhibits.

The guests also were in Yerablur and laid flowers in memory of the brave sons fallen for the homeland.
