Lusine Badalyan to Minister of High-Tech Industry: The invention of the scientist of Armenian origin in the field of nanotechnology is not applied, why?

During the NA-Government Q&A session the deputy Lusine Badalyan in parallel with the question reminded that a few years ago scientists of Armenian origin living in the USA and expressed wish to make serve the invention and knowledge patented by them to the Republic of Armenia. “The thing is about nanotechnology, particularly, the application of nanoparticles of military industry,” the deputy noted and underscored that regarding the issue they applied to the related bodies on time and despite the positive responses, there is no practical step until now.

In response to the MP’s question, the Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan presented the implemented certain steps and documented that a meeting had been with the given company. According to the Minister, as a result of debates, it has become clear that the company needs bigger space. The issue of providing a new area is observed by the Ministry.
