On June 19-23, within the framework of the Project the EU for Gender Equality Reform Support, the deputies of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction, the Chair of the Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs Heriknaz Tigranyan, Tsovionar Vardanyan and the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan were in Vienna on a study visit on Gender-Responsive Budgeting, got familiarized with the Austrian experience of providing legal equality between women and men in all spheres of public life.

The goal of the Project is to promote providing legal equality between women and men through making decisions, implementing reforms and applying gender-based analysis in the policy making processes.

Within the framework of the study visit, there were meetings with the representatives of state bodies and responsible departments.
