On June 27, the Head of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction Hayk Konjoryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia Kristina Kvien.

The sides discussed the perspectives and programs of further deepening of Armenia-USA inter-parliamentary relations.

The key role of the RA Parliament and the US Congress was highlighted in the issue of Armenia-USA strategic dialogue.

Hayk Konjoryan highlighted the involvement of the USA in the peace process, expressing hope that progress will be recorded in the negotiations to be held in Washington today.

Ambassador Kristina Kvien stressed that the United States is greatly concerned about the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and its evidence is the active engagement of the United States in the negotiation process.
