It is designed to define in which cases it will not be mandatory to send any organ, tissue or fluid removed from human body for histological or morphological examination
1 / 2

As a result of this imperative norm, we have a situation where, for example, a human’s removed tooth had to be sent for morphological examination and preserved for a period of two years. And such examples are numerous. With the draft, we enable the authorized body to set exceptions in which cases it will not be mandatory to send any organ, tissue or fluid removed from the human body for histological and morphological examination: The co-author of the draft Narek Zeynalyan clarified presenting the draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on Medical Care and Service to the Population authored by him and Lusine Badalyan for debate in the first reading at the NA extraordinary session on July 11.

Narek Zeynalyan stated that the development of the draft stems from the requirement recorded in Article 41.2 of the current law according to which any organ, tissue or fluid removed from the human body during life must be subjected to morphological examination.

The Deputy Minister of Health Armen Nazaryan presented the endorsement of the Government on the initiative.

The initiative was adopted in the first reading.
