The draft law on Making Amendments to the Law on Employment and the package of draft laws designing amendments to the related laws were debated in the second reading at the NA extraordinary session convened on July 11.

The key rapporteur, the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan informed that certain editorial amendments were made in the law on Employment during the period from the first to the second reading. Technical amendments were also made in the Law on Social Assistance and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The co-rapporteur, the member of the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs Mariam Poghosyan called on her colleagues to vote for the draft law.
