On August 22, the RA NA Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan met with the participants of Jean Monnet summer school in Parliament Current Challenges to International and EU Law and Politics: The Security and Human Rights Crises in the European Neighborhood organized by Eurasia International University, co-financed by the EU and DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service.

Arman Yeghoyan welcomed the visit of the foreign students to Yerevan and accepted with great enthusiasm the activity shown by the young people towards the state administration system. The deputy presented in detail the work of the Committee chaired by him, the directions of Armenia-EU cooperation, the reforms and sectoral changes made as a result of the signing of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. The Committee Chair stated that the cooperation with the EU is at the highest level today.

The Chair of the Committee also touched upon the various questions raised by the participants, which related to international law, legislative processes, and the development of the institutional system. The problems in the foreign political sphere, opportunities and challenges of cooperation with neighboring states were also actively discussed.

The Head of the project, Dr. Anna Khvorostiankina mentioned that the aim of the project is to provide advanced training in European law for non-legal students as well, to promote research activities and to unite the local academic community.
