The adoption of the draft law is conditioned by the necessity of ensuring the process of making amendments in the legal acts for providing the permission document exclusively online. It refers to providing the permission documents necessary for import and export of different kinds of goods, which is today permitted by law online of digital. The Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said this during the regular sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs while presenting the draft law on Making Addendum to the law Trade and Services.
According to Vahan Kerobyan, the Government in consonance with digital agenda, proposes to amend the law on Trade and Services in order the permissions, certificates and licenses will be provided exclusively online, in the event of the need of presenting to other countries, information containing state secret, as well as in the presence of insurmountable force, the relevant licenses, permissions and certificates also on digital version.
“The transition provision of the law is set for 6 months, it is necessary that all the bodies providing such licenses, permissions and certificates can refresh the systems for providing those documents online,” the Minister of Economy.
The members of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs approved the draft law with positive voting.
