The draft passed in the first reading in the Spring Session implies certain investment of state financing mechanisms to the film production sphere or improvement of the existing mechanism. If I describe in a simpler way, it refers to the return of certain amount of money in case of film production. The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Sisak Gabrielyan said, presenting for debate in the second reading the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Cinematography authored by Taguhi Ghazaryan and him on September 6.

Sisak Gabrielyan informed that after passing it in the first reading the Government presented a number of proposals, which the authors accepted. During the debate in the first reading the authors offered to set the return of the sum of money in the amount of 20%, which they reviewed, suggesting to fix it 10% - 40%.

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan presented the endorsement of the Government on the revised draft, noting that about 15 proposals presented by the Executive were accepted.

The Committee endorsed the draft.
