The draft was developed with the necessity to increase individual and public responsibility for the preservation and use of immovable monuments of history and culture, as well as to reduce violations of conservation rules and regimes. The deputy of Armenia Faction Lilit Galstyan said this at the sitting of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport presenting the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Code on Administrative Offenses in the second reading on September 6.
It is proposed to tighten the amount of administrative penalties set by Articles 94 and 95 of the RA Code of Administrative Offenses, as well as to establish appropriate regulations in cases where the same violation is committed again within 6 months after the application of administrative penalties. During the period from the first to the second reading, the Government received a number of proposals of an editorial nature, which were adopted.
The draft was endorsed.
