On September 7, the Vice President of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands completing his mission to the Republic of Armenia Nicolaas Schermers. Ruben Rubinyan thanked the Ambassador for the efforts made on strengthening the Armenian-Dutch relations and for the work done during his tenure. The NA Vice President noted that Armenia is ready to more activate the relations and cooperation in all spheres of bilateral interest.

Nicolaas Schermers thanked Ruben Rubinyan for effective cooperation and noted that it was a great honour for him to hold office in Armenia. Underlining that the Kingdom of the Netherlands highlights the deepening of cooperation with Armenia, he expressed conviction that the ties between the two countries will continue develop and strengthen.

At the Ambassador’s request the NA Vice President presented the situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border and in Nagorno Karabakh.
