Sargis Khandanyan receives international participants of Erasmus+ training course

On September 19, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan met with the international participants of the Erasmus+ training course of the programme Youth in Action: Fostering Peacebuilding, Conflict Resolution, and Employability Skills implemented by the Copernicus Berlin NGO (non-governmental organization).

Welcoming the guests, Sargis Khandanyan highly appreciated the implementation of these programmes in the context of peace building and conflict resolution.

During the meeting, the Committee Chair spoke about the relations with neighboring countries, particularly Turkey and Azerbaijan, and noted that currently there is instability in the South Caucasus, the security system is fragile.

The participants of the training course asked Sargis Khandanyan questions regarding the RA's foreign policy, the situation created in the background of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the possible settlement of relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey, the elections of Yerevan Council of Elders and other topics.

After the meeting, the guests toured the NA territory, visited the session hall, the museum and the library.
