The use of the video cameras in the functional diagnostic cabinets, in the intervention rooms, in the wards, in the bathrooms of the organizations carrying out medical aid and service is banned. In case of using video cameras the organizations carrying out medical aid and service place awareness signs in visible parts of the territory of their organization. The awareness signs are placed in a way that they are visible before entering the surveillance area. The Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Health Care of the RA National Assembly Lusine Badalyan said this, presenting in the second reading the package of draft laws on Making Addendum to the law on Medical Aid and Service and on Making Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences.

The issue was debated at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care on October 18.

The co-rapporteur, the RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan presented the endorsement of the Government on the legislative package.

The package of the revised drafts was endorsed.
