At the extraordinary sitting of December 22, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs debated in the second reading and endorsed the draft law on Amending the Constitutional Law Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia authored by the deputies of the NA Civil Contract Faction Arpine Davoyan and Anush Kloyan and the enclosed package of bills.

It was noted that there were no proposals regarding the legislative package during the period from the first to the second reading.

The Committee also voted for the package of bills on Making Addendum to the Constitutional Law Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia authored by the Government debated in the second reading.

According to the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Ara Mkrtchyan, after the first reading, the bill was revised with the proposed amendments.

The co-rapporteur, the MP Lilit Minasyan called on her colleagues to vote for the package of bills.
