Parliament debates Agreement on mutual recognition of documents of scientific degrees in EEU states

The Agreement is one of the measures of the plan for the implementation of strategic directions for the development of Eurasian economic integration until 2025. The aim is to eliminate the exclusions and limitations in the field of labor migration through the recognition of the conformity of documents on scientific degrees: The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Artur Martirosyan said, presenting the draft law on ratifying the Agreement on the mutual recognition of documents related to scientific degrees in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union to the National Assembly for debate.

According to the Deputy Minister, the ratification of the Agreement will regulate the mutual recognition of documents regarding scientific degrees in order to ensure access to employment in the EEU states, professional activities in the field of labor migration for persons with these documents.

Artur Martirosyan clarified the process implemented after the ratification of the Agreement.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Narek Babayan noted that the ratification of the Agreement will have a positive effect, particularly for Armenian scientists who received their degrees in the EEU countries.
