Committee adopts a decision on holding parliamentary hearings
1 / 9

On February 13, the members of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs observed a minute of silence in memory of those who died as a result of the Azerbaijani provocation this morning.

According to the Deputy Chair of the Committee Babken Tunyan, at the end of last year, the regime of providing tax privilege for the IT sector, which provides for lower income tax for small companies, was extended for one year. However, according to him, an agreement has been reached that this year we will already have a legislative package providing complete and long-term solutions that will regulate the IT sector.

In relation to the draft, Babken Tunyan proposed to convene parliamentary hearings on the topic Regarding the new legislative package regulating the field of information technologies: the Representatives of the institutions, business associations and companies related to the sector will be invited.

The Committee adopted a decision on holding parliamentary hearings on March 5.
