At February 21 regular sitting, the NA Standing Committee on Health Care in the first reading debated the draft law on Amending the law on Amending the law on Medical Aid and Service to the Population.

As the RA Deputy Minister of Health Armen Gasparyan informed, the goal of the adoption of the draft law is to give reasonable period for properly preparing the licensing process to those being engaged in the production or service of medical products.

It is proposed to extend the compulsory demand of production and service of medical products from, January 1, 2024 till January 1, 2025.

The Committee endorsed the draft.
