The main purpose of the package of the drafts is the improvement of the itinerant sales demand, the rise of the circulation of the itinerant sales locations, accordingly also the increase of the entry of the local duties, as well as the promotion of the tourism development. The RA Deputy Chair of the Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan said this.

The package of the draft law on Amending the law on Trade and Services and the enclosed presented draft law was debated at March 13 sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment.

According to Vache Terteryan, already one and a half year ago the legislative package on the regulation of the itinerant sales in the city of Yerevan was adopted. “And a decision was made after its implementation in Yerevan, in case of being workable, spread it also on other communities,” the Deputy Chair of the Territorial Administration and Infrastructure detailed.

It is designed by the debated package of draft laws to make applicable the legal regulations on itinerant sales functioning in Yerevan also in other communities.

Answering the deputies’ questions, Vache Terteryan presented clarifications on the destiny of the goods confiscated from the persons being engaged with the itinerant sales and street sales. According to the key rapporteur, in case of the right implementation and proper administration the volumes of the street sales will essentially decrease. To his observation, a tendency of the decrease of the street sales volumes is noticed.

The package of the draft laws was endorsed.
