Today, our information is much and distorted. In all of them the right thing loses. Even the media-literate society often is not able to understand what is said or is done by the media because of deliberately or non-deliberately, wrongly presenting the information: The Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan said at the meeting with the students of the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University (YSU), who were passing professional internship in parliament.
Babken Tunyan presented in detail the structure, the activities and the functions of the parliament, the procedures of revision, debate and adoption of the laws.
In the Q&A session the deputy referred to the problems aimed at the development of the economy of our country and the Armenia-EEU cooperation. The students were also interested in the issues regarding the necessity of building a new nuclear power plant in Armenia and the energy sector. Babken Tunyan noted that we should reduce dependence on a single source of energy. According to him, it is preferable to develop the increase of the solar station, the number of which considerably increased in recent years. The MP added that a new nuclear power plant is necessary for our country.
