By establishing new provisions, the control will be tightened, the marketing of dangerous products will be excluded, the legal basis for suspending or terminating the authority of the scientific center for risk assessment will be defined. This was stated by the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Tatevik Sargsyan, presenting the legislative initiative on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on State Control of Food Safety, on Making Amendment and Addenda to the Law on Feed and on Making Addendum to the Law on State Duty in the second reading at the extraordinary sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection on April 12.

After being accepted in the first reading, the package of drafts was not subject to content amendments, editorial amendments were made.

The Committee endorsed the initiative.
