On April 12, the Parliament continued the work of regular sittings.

In the second reading, the package of draft laws authored by the Government on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on State Control of Food Safety and the attached laws were debated.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Tatevik Sargsyan noted that as a result of the proposed amendments, control in the fields of food safety and phytosanitary will be more effective. The relations regarding state registration, rejection, suspension and termination of feed additives and maintaining the register will have a legal basis.

Technical amendments were made in the legislative package during the period from the first to the second reading.

The Parliament adopted the draft laws debated on April 11 and 12 by voting.

Having exhausted the agenda, the National Assembly completed the work of regular sittings.
