At the sitting of April 26 of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport, the draft on Amending the Law on Audiovisual Media was debated in the second reading.

The author of the legislative initiative Sisak Gabrielyan informed that during the period from the first to the second reading, he presented one proposal, which was accepted. He noted that an amendment was made regarding the obligations imposed on the Public Broadcaster by law and it was established that the obligations will be imposed on 2 television companies and two audio-visual programmes.

The Committee endorsed the draft law.

The debate of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on the Preservation and Use of Immovable Monuments of History and Culture and Historical Environment in the second reading authored by the deputy of the NA Armenia Faction Lilit Galstyan was postponed for up to two months.
