The members of the RA NA Armenia-US Friendship Group: The Head of the Friendship Group, the Head of the NA Civil Contract Faction Hayk Konjoryan, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan, the Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan, the Chair of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Tsovinar Vardanyan, the NA deputy Arsen Torosyan and the RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the USA Lilit Makunts met with the Co-chair of the Congressional Armenian Issues Caucus Frank Pallone and the member of the Congressional Armenian Issues Caucus Jim Costa in Washington on May 1.

The Congressmen were interested in the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the regional developments.

The Armenian Parliamentarians emphasized the U.S. support for the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Armenia.

The process of strengthening the economic resilience and democratic reforms of Armenia was discussed.
