The coordinated activity in the sphere of export and import, the development of the economic new mechanisms and market relations, as well as the regulation of the relations arising between the legal and physical persons in the sphere of culture will be ensured by the adoption of the draft law. The RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Alfred Kocharyan said this at June 4 regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport, presenting the draft law authored by the Government on Making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Export and Import of Cultural Values.

The notions of the law are added by the draft – organization implementing examination of cultural values, vehicle means, the term of the right to purchase by the state increases: it becomes from 1 to two months, authorizing norms ar4e created for the definition of the accrediting order and criteria of the organizations implementing examination of cultural values.

It is proposed to fix legal norm, which will enable the RA Government to define the accreditation of the organizations implementing examination of cultural values.

It is expected that by the adoption of the draft the systemized activity of preservation of cultural values, defense and security will be provided.

The draft with the endorsement of the Committee will be included in the draft agenda of the NA upcoming regular sittings.
