It is designed by the legislative package to set a duty for a number of organizations and entities with video surveillance systems by providing the entrance of the building and all sides from outside: The RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan said at June 7 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security during the debate of the legislative package stipulating addenda to the draft on Police and in the enclosed draft laws.

According to the Deputy Minister, it also proposed to provide also with video surveillance systems the ambulance cars and passenger halls of the buses and mini buses.

Arpine Sargsyan answered the deputies’ questions, which particularly, referred to the protection of the persons’ rights, the protection of the citizens’ personal data, the conclusion of the Personal Data Protection Agency.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs expressed readiness to continue the debates during the period from the first to the second reading.

In his co-report the member of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Vahagn Aleksanyan proposed his colleagues to vote for the package,

The Committee endorsed the legislative initiative.
