With the adoption of the draft law on Making Addendum and Amendment to the Law on General Education, the authority to approve the coefficients and the norms for the implementation of programmes and measures provided by the RA state budget in the field of public education, as well as funding procedures, will be reserved to the RA Government. This was stated by the RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan at the extraordinary sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport on July 10.

The Committee debated the draft law in the second reading and endorsed it.
