At National Assembly Sitting

The parliament began the works of the second day of the four-day sittings by voting. On February 27 the sitting the National Assembly adopted all the issues debated before as well as 15 drafts and legislative package and 7 international treaties.

The draft laws on Making Addenda to the law on Property Tax, on Making Amendment to the law on Value Added Tax, on Making Amendment to the RA Code on Administrative Offences were presented to the MPs for being submitted in the second reading. The draft law on Insurance and Insurance Activity was presented for the second reading with the proposal on making appropriate amendments in 14 laws.

After debating these issues Mr. Tigran Torosyan, President of the National Assembly, interrupted the sitting taking into consideration that the vast majority of the issues included in the agenda had been debated, and the main speakers of the remaining issues could not be present because of different reasons.

Mr. Tigran Torosyan, President of the National Assembly, informed that the MP Vram Gyulzadyan terminates his deputy authorities due to a transfer to another appointment.

According to the Rules of Procedure, the last hour of the sitting was allotted to the MPs’ announcments.
