On February 3, the Head of NA Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) faction Gagik Tsarukyan received the delegation led by the Chairman of the European People’s Party (EPP) Wilfried Martens. During the private talk the sides exchanged ideas over deepening the inter-party relations and further possible cooperation perspectives. The EPP Chairman underlined the role of the PAP leader in spreading and establishing European values and expressed confidence that their cooperation would have serious perspectives. The PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan highlighted the process of Armenia’s European integration, noting the work done on that path and the problems, which were on the agenda of Armenia-EU relations.

Afterwards in NA Gilded Hall the meeting continued with expanded staff. The EPP Chairman highlighted the resoluteness of the Prosperous Armenia Party in integrating into European united policy, expressing hope that during the current year the EPP would make a decision to ensure observer's status for the Prosperous Armenia. In his turn Gagik Tsarukyan noted that the two parties were united by the common ideas and values, which will later be added by the established personal contacts and partnership relations. “I believe in our European success,” the PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan said summing up the meeting with the EPP Chairman.
