The Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival is held under the patronage of the NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan within the framework of Open Doors for the second time, which this year is dedicated to the 125^th birth anniversary of the Armenian well-known poet Vahan Terian. First time the Recitation Contest-Festival was held in 2009.

On December 15 at Yerevan Mushegh Ishkhan School the final phase of the Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival was held, where 80 schoolchildren took part from all marzes of Armenia, Yerevan, Artsakh and Javakhk.

As a result of the jury's assessments, 18 participants of 11-14 and 15-17 age groups were recognized winners, who will take part in the gala-concert of the second Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival, which will take place on December 16 at Yerevan Gabriel Sundukian State National Academic Theatre. The NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, NA deputies and other officials will attend the concert.
