The Open Lesson being held in the National Assembly expand the frameworks, on March 23 the students of Eurasia International University and Basic College visited the National Asssembly and after attending the sitting of the parliament met the Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan.

Introducing their educational center and thanking for the meeting the director of the college notes that it gives opportunity to compare the theoretical and practical knowledge and it will have its importance with respect to the rise of the efficiency of the education.

NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan noted that the meetings had shown that such format was sufficient, and it had been chosen in order the future generation would have opportunity to contact with the parliament, could have a picture about the work of the legislative body, the MPs. The NA deputies’ visit schools and the meetings with the schoolchildren on the spots also promote that.

The NA Speaker was interested in the educational activity of the college, expressed willingness to visit the educational center and if necessary, support it too.

The format of the talk between the National Assembly and students was rather wide: foreign policy, National Assembly-government relationship, parliamentary diplomacy, electoral legislation, emigration and, of course, educational system.

Responding to the questions of the participants of the Open Lesson, Hovik Abrahamyan presented the procedure of the adoption of the laws in the parliament at their request.

Highlighting the presence of the youth in the legislative body the NA Speaker said that the works of the creation of the Youth Parliament initiated by him were in process, which would give opportunity to become the immediate participant of the law making activity.

Promising to continue the talk in Eurasia International University and Basic College the NA Speaker was taken photo with the students in the session hall of the parliament after the meeting.
