On February 9 within the framework of the RA NA “Open Lesson” programme a group of students and professors from different faculties of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University (Yerevan City) were hosted in the parliament. They got acquainted with the works of the parliament, took part in the NA sitting, and afterwards they had a meeting with the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov.

As an alumni of that higher educational institution Mr Sharmazanov welcomed the students and called on the youth for free dialogue, presenting the features of the parliamentary works.

The future journalists, historians, sociologists, and students with other majors were interested in the issues of foreign, especially, regional political developments, culture, spiritual problems, army, education, electoral processes, recognition of Genocide etc..

The NA Deputy Speaker answered in detail the raised questions, presenting his views.

The meeting ended with the photo traditionally taken in the session hall of the parliament.
