On February 27 pupils and teachers of Gyumri Vazgen I N 27 School also took part in the next sitting of the National Assembly, who visited the parliament within the framework of the “Open Lesson” programme. Then the pupils met the NA Deputy Speaker Samvel Balasanyan. The NA deputies Sukias Avetisyan and Anahit Bakhshyan also attended the meeting.

Welcoming the pupils’ visit to the parliament, the NA Deputy Speaker presented the structure of the legislative body, the authorities and functions, the NA majoritarian and proportional electoral systems and the features of the legislative activity.

Samvel Balasanyan answered the pupils’ questions, which mainly referred to the reforms of the educational sphere, in particular, passing to the 12-year educational system.

At the end of the meeting the NA Deputy Speaker called on the pupils to study well and become good specialists in their chosen sphere.

The meeting ended with traditional taking photos in the Session Hall of the parliament.
