On July 12 RA National Assembly Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia Tian Changchun.

In the course of the meeting the sides recorded the successes registered during the last years in strengthening trade-economic, political cooperation, inter-parliamentary relations and in humanitarian spheres and more developing the inner-state relations in different spheres: the big potential and opportunities of the two countries.

According to the Ambassador of China, the opening of one of the biggest projects of the Armenian-Chinese economic cooperation, the joint enterprise “Shansy-Nairit” of chloroprene rubber production and effective work can be a good example to more develop the joint entrepreneurship in future, and the firm ties between the capitals of the two countries can open brilliant perspectives of inter-regional development.

Touching upon the policy pursued by the Armenian authorities in the settlement of the Karabakh problem, the Ambassador highly appreciated Armenia’s readiness and resoluteness to regulate through peaceful negotiations, which according to him, is the only effective and acceptable version for its country and international community.

Eduard Sharmazanov also highlighted the development of the economic mutually beneficial cooperation of the two countries, the activation of the inter-parliamentary relations, especially by effective cooperation of friendship groups and highly assessed the balanced policy of the Chinese authorities in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh problem. He conditioned effective cooperation of the friendly countries and the perspectives of the economic development by the distinct, realistic position adopted by the authorities and the consistence of their realization.

In the meeting other issues of mutual interest were discussed too.
